The start of things are always so positive and forward looking. At the beginning, one has so much hope and ambition. The beginning of a new year is a naturally reflective period of time. So I did some reflection 🙂

I took almost 20K photos in 3 states this year. Check out the infographic I created below.

If you more into videos, here is a video slideshow I made called, “2013 in 100 Photos.”

I accomplished a few of my goals last year and recently amended my goals list for 2014 🙂 If you don’t already, I would highly recommend looking into how to properly set goals. It sounds silly, but just taking a few minutes every month gives so much purpose and precision to your life.

Here are a few of my goals for the year:

• Do a muscle up
• Podium at a CrossFit Competition
• Meal Prep Mondays

• Become Debt Free
• Create More Passive Income

• Place iPhone app in Top 20 list
• Develop and launch 3 Apps

• Scuba Dive in Tropical Waters
• Create a timelapse video
• Travel Internationally

• Do yoga once a week
• Meditate once a day

2014 Motto: Happiness through discipline.

Another interesting idea I have been introduced to is theming or creating a motto for your year. I think this is a really unique way of creating a purpose statement. So set your goals, create your theme, and write your story 🙂 I wish everyone a wonderful 2014 and I leave you with one of my favorite quotes.

“The tragedy in life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.” • Benjamin Mays

What are some of your goals for 2014? What is your motto this year? Leave some love in the comments.
